Customers scored this supplier particularly highly for value for money and customer satisfaction. 96% of customers on Trustpilot gave this business a good or excellent rating. What type of energy tariffs offered by So Energy for the UK households?

  • Variable energy tariff – So energy can change your daily standing charge and price per kWh (unit rate) whenever they wish. The variable tariff is an out of contract tariff so if you don’t renew or switch you’ll automatically be rolled over onto this plan.
  • Fixed rate tariff – price per kWh and daily standing charge will remain fixed throughout the contract terms. The So Alder fixed rate tariff is a 12 month contract with a £5 exit fee for each fuel if you decide to switch early. You can also opt to pay more in the winter and less in the summer. This tariff is available on dual fuel and Economy 7.
  • Pay As You Go – Pay for your energy in advance by using an energy top up key or card, you can buy your energy in advance at post offices or authorised local dealers such as convenience stores or via mobile app.
  • Dual fuel energy tariff – It means So energy will supply both electricity and gas to your home. Usually, dual fuel energy is cheaper when compared to single fuel energy supply.
  • E-car users can benefit from cheap overnight rates using the Economy 7 tariff.
