We have just gone live with Economy Energy – Smart PAYG v1.0 tariff. New tariff is not available for sale via any of the channels.

Economy Energy’s Smart PAYG v1.0 prices are fixed for 12 months beginning on the day Economy Energy starts supplying your energy. The estimated savings figure on the results table assumes tariff rates and discounts remain the same for a year. However, after the contract period Economy Energy will either transfer you to the closest equivalent offer available or their Standard tariff, either of which may be more expensive than Smart PAYG v1.0. Please note this tariff comes with a smart meter and until Economy Energy have installed your new smart meters you will be placed on their Evergreen tariff to support your pre-payment meters. Economy Energy will make every effort to install your smart meters as quickly as possible.

Below are the average prices by region for current average usage figures i.e. gas 12,000 kWh per annum and electricity 3,100 kWh per annum, dual fuel, and payment method is Prepayment meter.

However, after the contract period Economy Energy will either transfer you to the closest equivalent offer available or their Standard tariff, either of which may be more expensive than 2 Year Saver.

Economy Energy has launched Direct Saver (Fixed) v1,  and Smart Saver tariffs which went live at close of play yesterday on our website. Please note Direct Saver (Fixed) v1 is available for sale via all the channels, however other 2 tariffs are on enquire.

There is a cancellation fee of £25 per fuel if you switch away before the end of the fixed price period. Economy Energy has launched Smartpay 2017 (v1), Evergreen Capped and Evergreen Capped (Eco7) tariffs, which has replaced their Smartpay, Value (Pay As You Go) and Evergreen tariffs. Changes are now live on our website and new tariffs are available for sale via all the channels.

 Below are the average prices by region for current average usage figures i.e. gas 12,500 kWh per annum and electricity 3,100 kWh per annum, dual fuel, and payment method is Prepayment meter.

For Evergreen Capped (Eco7) tariff, average usage figures are gas 12,500 kWh per annum, electricity day 1,935 kWh per annum and electricity night 2,365 kWh per annum.

Economy Energy is a British energy supplier based in Coventry. Set up in 2012, they offer both gas and electricity to UK customers.

They currently have two tariffs Direct Saver (for monthly direct debit customers) and Economy Tariff (for prepayment customers) which are currently on enquire.
