New Energy Tariffs by EDF Energy_Blue Price Promise

EDF Energy has launched Online Saver Jan19v2 which has replaced Online Saver Jan19 tariff. Changes are now live and the new tariff is available for sale via internet channels only.

Please note at the same time we have added Simply Fixed Renewal Jan19 tariff for comparison purposes.

Prices on EDF Energy’s Online Saver Jan19v2 are fixed until 31st January 2019. There is a cancellation fee of £35 per fuel if you switch away before the end of the fixed price period. This is an online-only tariff, which means that you must be prepared to manage your account online. This involves receiving and viewing your bills online, providing meter readings online and carrying out general correspondence online. Customers on this tariff will receive their electricity from low-carbon generation. At the end of the tariff, customers will be automatically placed on EDF Energy’s cheapest variable tariff available at that time for their meter type and payment method. You will be notified between 42 to 49 days in advance of your tariff end date, and will be able to change supplier or choose a new tariff from their other available tariffs at that time.

Below are the average prices by region for current average usage figures i.e. gas 12,000 kWh per annum and electricity 3,100 kWh per annum, dual fuel, and payment method is Monthly Direct Debit.

EDF Energy has launched Smart Saver Jan19 and Online Saver Jan19 which has replaced their Smart Saver Nov18 and Online Saver Nov18 tariffs. Changes are now live and Smart Saver Jan19 is on enquire and Online Saver Jan19 is available for sale via internet channels only.

EDF Energy has launched Connect+Control 2 Feb20 and Fix+Reward Amazon Prime Feb20 which has replaced their Connect+Control 1 Feb20 and Blue+Price Protection Nov18 tariffs. Changes are now live and Connect+Control 2 Feb20 is available for sale via internet and inbound telesales channels however Fix+Reward Amazon Prime Feb20 is on enquire.

Prices on EDF Energy’s Connect+Control 2 Feb20 are fixed until 29th February 2020. There is a cancellation fee of £135 per fuel if you switch away before the end of the fixed price period. At the end of the tariff, customers will be automatically placed on EDF Energy’s cheapest variable tariff available at that time for their meter type and payment method. You will be notified between 42 to 49 days in advance of your tariff end date, and will be able to change supplier or choose a new tariff from their other available tariffs at that time. This tariff also includes a HeatSmart and an Amazon Echo, which allows you to control your heat with Just your voice and also allows to control your energy account, play music, read the news, set alarms and much more.

Prices on EDF Energy’s Fix+Reward Amazon Prime Feb20 are fixed until 29th February 2020. There is a cancellation fee of £40 per fuel if you switch away before the end of the fixed price period. At the end of the tariff, customers will be automatically placed on EDF Energy’s cheapest variable tariff available at that time for their meter type and payment method. You will be notified between 42 to 49 days in advance of your tariff end date, and will be able to change supplier or choose a new tariff from their other available tariffs at that time. Customers who agree to receive both gas and electricity from EDF and pay for their energy by Direct Debit or cash/cheque will receive Amazon 12 months Prime membership claim code via email, which will be sent within 30 days of the contract start date for both the energy supply contracts.

Changes went live this morning and the new tariffs are available for sale via internet and inbound telesales channels.

EDF energy has launched BIue+Heating Protect Jan20 and Blue+Price Protection Oct18 which has replaced their Blue+Heating Protect Jun20 and Blue+Price Protection Aug18v2 tariffs. Changes went live this morning and these tariffs are available for sale via inbound and internet channels.

Prices on EDF Energy’s BIue+Heating Protect Jan20 are fixed until 31st January 2020. Customers on this tariff will receive their electricity from low-carbon generation. At the end of the tariff, customers will be automatically placed on EDF Energy’s cheapest variable tariff available at that time for their meter type and payment method. You will be notified between 42 to 49 days in advance of your tariff end date, and will be able to change supplier or choose a new tariff from their other available tariffs at that time. This tariff also comes with boiler breakdown cover. The policy covers the failure/breakdown of your standard domestic mains gas boiler, standard radiators, controls and thermostats, and provides cover for up to 3 claims during the year, and a maximum of £500 per claim. If you need to claim, you will have to pay the first £50 of each claim. Cover will start on your tariff start date and will run for 12 months. If you wish, you may also cancel the insurance policy at any time. Cancellation will not affect your energy prices or energy tariff and no refunds will be made as no premium has been paid. At the end of the 12 month period, EDF’s insurance partner Intana will write to you and offer a further 12 months cover at £11.19 per month. You will be able to continue with the insurance or cancel your cover at this point.
